Merloni website - best in Italy

As proclaimed in Corriere della Sera December 1st Merloni has the best Italian corporate website, followed by ENI and Benetton. This according to the third edition of the annual European Webranking, which this year has been extended to include the Top 50 Italian listed companies.

Merloni achieved a score of 62 out of 100. The company is followed by ENI (61 p) and Benetton (58 p).

Italian companies have improved their score substantially since last year. The 37 companies included both years achieved in average 30.4 points 2002 and this year 40.4, an increase with 33 percent. Still the test protocol has bee toughened in many aspects between 2002 and 2003.
