The Danish paper Børsen.dk published the Danish H&H Webranking result today. It is the tenth consecutive year the H&H Webranking survey highlights Danish corporate websites. Danske Bank takes the top position in the 2009 survey for the sixth year in a row. Despite harder demands from the capital market and a more thorough research protocol Danske Bank continues to hold off their Danish competitors. Second place goes to Nordea, and Novo Nordisk takes the bronze. Denmark as a country takes a huge step forward, turning in at number 4 in Europe.

“Danske Bank takes the crown for the sixth time and wins the H&H Webranking, since they continue to present a website that fulfils the demands from the target group. In particular, Danske Bank’s website has a well developed Investor Relations section including risk, debt and credit information, extra important topics for the banking sector. Reliable and transparent corporate communication is an essential part of the process to create trust", says Marcus Eriksson.

A huge step forward

Denmark is ranked number 4 out of the 21 countries in the H&H Webranking 2009, a remarkable step forward from last year’s 7th position out of 21 countries.

“When it comes to online functions, which is highly appreciated by the target group, Danish companies shows particular strong results. Good and manageable functions that facilitate for a time-stressed analyst or journalist are becoming increasingly common among the surveyed websites. A corporate website is not only to inform, but to serve”, says Marcus Eriksson Head of H&H Webranking.
